Open Water Diver: first level of scuba certification
The Open Water Diver course is the first level of scuba certification. At Bucaneros del Caribe, we accompany you with SDI training, theory, confined water practice, and progressive training to develop essential skills before your reef dives.
During the course, you will learn to use the equipment, control your buoyancy, communicate underwater, plan basic dives, and dive with greater confidence. Training is done at your own pace, with SDI instructors and practice in the Costa Maya reefs, depending on sea conditions and the student's progress.
